seven ± two

The magical number seven, plus or minus two, refers to the capacity of our short-term memory.

Sometimes I post about science & literature & culture & whatnot.

But mostly, pictures of puppies, babies, and food and other random things that nobody else would care about will be posted ad nauseam.
Sorry.

You can holler at me here: sevenplusminustwo@gmail.com

I have another, wordier tumblr here.

I also post really awesome things with some snarky, sexy ladies over here.

Four literary themed trucks are part of a new ad campaign for the Johnson County Library. Officials hope the trucks will spark interest and bring even more readers to their doors.

Hm. Dubious ploy at best. I mean, if people aren’t going to libraries anymore, I doubt seeing random trucks - awesomely designed trucks, albeit - will suddenly inspire them to flock to them. Though seriously, I mean, the library is friggin awesome. It’s FREE!
Incidentally, I reopened my library account yesterday. Dare I say I have replaced everything I lost back in February? Well, you know, aside from the obvious things that can’t be replaced. Like my friggin MOLESKINE. Mother fuckers..
Also, this is the same county that has a Library District, no? The same one that has a giant library painted to look like a row of books on the outside? So.. I’m not surprised about this truck thing. Still think it’s cool though!
