How to deal with: long days, long hours
- Start it with a hearty, healthy breakfast.
Good morning, tumblr! I set my cell phone alarm for 8am this morning so I can bang out the rest of this paper before the afternoon but forgot to actually turn it on so I didn’t wake up until 11. I am sort of mad at myself but I figured my body needed the rest, so, eh.
Here is my breakfast! Haven’t been eating so healthily lately so I’m trying to get back on track. Also, there’s nothing else to eat. What did you have for brekkie break?
Fried rice cakes with beef and baby bok choy.
Made dinner for me and my bro tonight. I should’ve added more salt. Frequent error since I’m always afraid to overdo it!
Still pretty good, I think.
For dinner last night, my friends and I roasted an eggplant and topped it off with tomatoes, onions, and feta.
I haven’t made dinner in a while. Like, an actual meal with carbs and things. When I make food for myself, I can just throw together random things and be happy. But there are times when I feel like taking on the impossible task of cooking for my family, for some strange reason, and have to cater (haha!) to their desires.
Tonight I made, pan-fried sole fillets (dredged in a parsley garlic eggy bread crumby mixture) with a pasta “salad” of rotini, diced tomatoes, zucchini, and white beans.
Random. But yummmmmmy.
